5-day certification · Greater Kailash, New Delhi
Operate clinical laser platforms yourself, under supervision, inside a working Uncover clinic. Assessed on theory and practical.
Three formats
All three begin 15 September and lead to the same assessed certification.
You attend the clinic on five days in a row, 11 AM to 3 PM. Theory and practical happen together each day, so the device work builds without a gap. Certified at the end of the week.
Best if you can take a week off, or you're travelling in for the programme.
You attend the clinic one day a week for five weeks, same hours. The gap between sessions gives you time to absorb the theory before the next practical. Certified after week five.
Best if you're working and can free up one weekday.
You complete all the theory modules online in your own time, then come to the clinic for one full day of hands-on device work and your practical assessment. Only one trip to Delhi.
Best if you're outside Delhi NCR or can only travel in once.
The practical
You train on the clinical laser equipment Uncover clinics use every day, not training units. Theory covers Alexandrite, Nd:YAG and IPL as well as diode.
You handle the handpiece, set the parameters and run the treatment yourself, with your trainer supervising every session.
Bring your own model or we'll arrange one at no extra cost. Every consumable, plus a course handbook to keep, is supplied.
Syllabus
The epidermal strata, dermis and hypodermis; skin functions; hair follicles, sebaceous and sweat glands; dermal vasculature and why tissue depth matters in treatment.
Melanin content, burn and tan response, and how skin type governs safe fluence, wavelength choice and pigmentation risk.
Acne vulgaris and its lesion types; pigmentary disorders including melasma, PIH, freckles, peri-oral and peri-orbital pigmentation, vitiligo and albinism; recognising what you cannot treat.
The pilosebaceous unit, follicle structure, anagen, catagen and telogen phases, and vellus versus terminal hair — the reason treatment runs across multiple sessions.
Stimulated emission, monochromaticity, coherence and collimation; gain medium, excitation source, resonator and output coupler; how light behaves on reaching the skin.
Wavelength, fluence, pulse duration, spot size, repetition rate, power and beam profile — and the clinical consequence of getting each one wrong.
Melanin, haemoglobin, water and carbon as targets and as competing absorbers; thermal relaxation time and thermal confinement; why the epidermis is the constraint.
Ruby 694 nm, Alexandrite 755 nm, Diode 810 nm, Nd:YAG 1064 nm and IPL — melanin absorption against penetration depth, the role of cooling, and why IPL is not a laser.
How to evaluate a platform against the skin types you actually treat, your treatment volume and your clinical setting — and what to ask before you invest.
Medical and hormonal history, hirsutism versus hypertrichosis, hair calibre and colour, tanning assessment, realistic expectations, informed consent and documentation.
Eyewear and controlled treatment areas; immediate and delayed complications; the contraindication list including hormonal conditions, isotretinoin and recent tanning; paradoxical hypertrichosis; post-care.
Supervised hands-on device work: patch testing, parameter selection, technique and treatment delivery — followed by your theory and practical assessments.
Theory covers the full range of hair-reduction technologies. Hands-on operation is on the clinical diode equipment in use at the clinic.

Who it's for
Start with one employable skill — the treatment most clinics run more than any other.
Add certified clinical laser operation to the skin work you already do.
Supervised hands-on time on clinical diode platforms, with parameter judgement across skin types.
Understand the technology before you invest — or get certified so you can supervise the staff who operate it.
The platforms
Enrol in the MASTER Certification after this programme and your full course fee is deducted from the MASTER fee. You don't pay twice for the laser module.

You can bring your own model for the practical sessions. If you'd prefer not to, we'll arrange one at no additional cost. All consumables and materials are supplied by the academy.
No. The programme works for complete freshers as well as working therapists, doctors and salon owners. The theory starts from first principles and practical sessions are supervised individually.
Yes. Module 09 covers choosing a platform for your practice — how to weigh a device against the skin types you treat, your volume and your setting, and what to ask before you invest. The theory also covers Alexandrite, Nd:YAG and IPL.
A ₹5,000 registration fee confirms your enrolment. The remaining ₹20,000 is payable before the programme begins. The registration fee is refundable if you inform us at least 48 hours before the batch start date.
